Organized in 1977, the DCGS, a nonprofit genealogical organization located in Dickinson County, Michigan, seeks to find, preserve and make accessible information helpful to individuals tracing their family roots on the Eastern Menominee Iron Range.  A wealth of useful material is contained on this website and in the pages of Dickinson Diggings, our quarterly publication which began in 1982.
